How To Close Windows Remote Registry Service

By default, Windows system need to close a number of services to protect the server more effectively. One of the service is windows remote registry service, if the hacker connected to our computer and the computer enabled the Remote Registry service (Remote Registry), then he can operate any service through the windows remote registry service, therefore remote registry service should receive special protection. Of course, just do not think close the service and you can sit back and relax, hackers could easily open the service through commend.

To completely turn off the remote registry service, you can use the following method:

First, the task bar "Start -> Run", type regedit into the Registry Editor.

Second, find the "RemoteRegistry" item in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services.

Third, right-click "RemoteRegistry" item, choose "delete". OK! Windows Remote Registry Service is being closed.
